Just thoughts

Independence and dependence can be of good and of bad. I've been told that I'm an independent person. I would agree to come extent. But I'm also very dependent to somethings in my life.

There's a lot of thoughts that went through my mind today as I was clearing my room. Spent lot of time thinking and just thinking.

Sometimes, I feel that when one decides or unconsciously decides to be dependent to something/someone. It could mean more that reliance of something/someone. It could mean that you enjoy the process more than having to rely or dependent. It trickles tears when you think about how it was misinterpreted or pushed around. But oh well, just thoughts.

I've more or less mark the ticks in my mind of who/what/when I'll be dependent or be independent on.

I will be more dependent on...
And way less independent from...

Yes girl, that's the way.

mmm.. messy no more

I feel so much tidier after doing a little tidying up in my D drive in my laptop. I don't know you peeps see this... but I can get really messy sometimes. Okay, all the time. I can't stand myself sometimes. So hey girl, it feels good to be tidy and neat. So you better be more organised when the year spells... two-o-o-eight!

I was complaining to Li Jie that I'm sick of being messy. I try to put things in place sometimes but it's just messy. She shared with me that I'm pretty meticulous and organised when I'm planning for events, meetings, work or projects. But I'm messy within my own personal circle. And I gotta agree with her observation! heh.

So oh well, getting more organised will be one of my Personal Goals in 2008! I've pretty much think through about my Personal Goals for 2008. Just need a little tidying up of thoughts and such. I spent like 6-8 hours over the span of 2 days in MacRitchie having extended time with God, evaluating 2007 and setting goals for 2008. Pretty neat, eh? It was really refreshing and rejuvenating just being out in nature and spending some quiet time with God. I truly enjoyed it. :)

I wanted to meet my bestie Chun Shu tomorrow and pass her Christmas Present tomorrow. But I guess it'll be too rush for her and such. So I've decided to be a super duper good girl and stay home. So what am I gonna do? hehe. I've bought some scrap booking stuffs lately from all over the place. And I saved some precious 'junk' for scrap booking fun. I've decided to do a little revamp on my study desk. Yay! I've been facing the minty blue walls (with some cracks, decaying double sided tape and yellowed scotch tapes) for the longest time when I'm studying. I wanna cover up the wall with pretty coloured papers, spread some photos of my beloveds, paste my personal goals, reminders, calenders, etc. I think that'll help me to be more motivated to do more things by my desk. Colours works wonder! hehe. Thank God for colours!

On top of that, I wanna have a proper organiser for the entire 2008! I had a few planner/organiser for the past 1 or 2 years. BUT... I'll only use them for like the first few months and off it go sleeping and rotting in some corner on my desk. That's another problem with me... Shan fen zhong re shui! 3 minutes hot water (Loosely translated). I wanna get a organiser that I'll be so attracted to and keep it for the whole year. I've been keeping my eyes open for some sweet organiser but nothing really caught my eyes. hehe. But I saw this cute notebook that I can convert as organiser from Giant. It's really bright and cheery. It has this big heart-shaped on the covers. But CL was said don't waste money because I'm probably not going use it. Sad. Then I saw another plan but very lovely textured notebook at MUJI. But I think it's a little overpriced for a notebook. Sigh. I shall find a way. I think I wanna scrapbook my planner/organiser. hehe.

I think I'll post picture of my little revamp study area a little after I'm totally done with it. Oh ya, I think I should go ikea a get some cheap linglongs that'll help organise.

After my room, I'll organise my bags. I'm always digging for things. And I'm a garang guni 24/7. And after my organising my bags, I'll organise my face. LOL. I think I need some threading for my brows because it looks like some broom. Brow broom. Cool. :)

JADED


I'm bored.

I tried studying but I'm drawn to so many other things around me. Like.. O, Sweetie! and the internet. Umm, and many many many other things. I seriously need to kick butt and get some discipline. haha. I could study very well the other days. It's just that.. it's sunday todayyyyy. And for the past couple of weeks, Sunday means stepping out of house and get some stuffs done. I was glad I free-ed up my Sunday so my books can have some quiet time with me. But I just don't feel like looking at them. LOL.

I haven't blog for quite awhile. I've lots of pictures to share with all of you. Just in case you people forgot how pretttyyyy (yaaa.. right!) I look. hahaha.



That's me, Rossy and Sophie at Connect Conference! Connect conference was really enriching. Learnt some stuffs and was reminded about some things about my walk with God. If I can, I'll share more in future. :)

Sometime back, the PSM peeps went to Fort Canning for a picnic! Of all the shots I took, I felt that this shot is the best. hehe.



This was taken sometime back when I met up with Li Jie at Macritchie for some PT time. haha. I cooked Carbonara! Everybody in my family can't really find ways to appreciate it. But only Li Jie finds it nice. hahahaha. Look at her! She looks very delighted to SWALLOW my carbonara. hahaha.




At it was around Mooncake festival then, I think. So I bought lanterns to play with. LOL. We're two lost rabbits in Macritchie. Chang Er haven't got the chance to find us yet.


The dress I'm wearing is from my own online store! O, Sweetie! hehe. Pretty right?! I love my Xan Cross front Dress! Lovely!



Those were taken after Serene's wedding. We were shopping at Kiddy's Palace for Baby Gracie's 1 Year Old Birthday! hehe. We fooled around with the toys and complain that our feet are aching. hehe.

I got tons of photos to share but like I said.. it's TONS. So I'll leave it to another time. hehe.
