She glanced up. Through the window, she saw the brilliant hues of orange, pink and yellow streak of the star-studded sky. The velvet durk was giving way to the palest slate of dusk. For the first time, she saw the sunrise in its splendour. Through the grime-stained window, she saw hope and she saw life.-from one of my old essays

This'll sound terribly silly but I actually dreamt about Jonathan Leong few days back. Don't ask me why or what? I've no idea. I didn't drool all over his pictures or what before I sleep that night. I don't ogle over idols or what nots. And I'm not those kind of mad fans who chase after their idol from one end of teeny Singapore to the other end. haha.
I dreamt that I was in Jonathan's red small van cruising around with his dog at the back of the van. Soon later, he parked his car in this parking lot that look quite similar to Jusco in Miyazaki. We got out of the red van after that and he was holding me in his fuzzy and muscular arms as we gazed up into the sky. Lo and behold, above us.. the rich crimson and tangerine hues of the sunset were giving way to the palest of slate of dusk. Awww! Lovely! I can't believe he's so sweet in my dream, that is. He was really holding on to me really tight as we strolled into a mall. And we were like two lovestrucked lovebirds window shoppings, teasing and whispering sweet nothings. (Oh! Please 'slap' me awake!) And umm, he gave me sweet honey kisses too. Awww! Sounds like bliss, right? It seems as if we were permanently floating on cloud nine! Oh yes, he sang the song Chasing Cars to me! I would just melt if he were to really sing to me and only me in real life! I can't really remember the entire dream in great details. But this is sure good enough huh? Blur blur version.
I wouldn't mind (TEEHEEHEE! Wishful thinking!) having Jon as my boyfriend or someone to love for eternity.. base on the dreams and the perception I have on him. Sweet, suave, cool, real smart, has a voice that'll just melt my heart completely, sings so so so beautifully, charming single eye-lid eyes, muscular enough, loving I believe, adorable, crappy and above all, HE LOVES GOD!
Oh well, I bet you must be rolling your eyes right now. And and.. and! You're about to pick up your phone to dial my number and holler me to DREAM ON! hahahaha. Yea, I know, dream on. Awww.
It was just a lovey dovey dream about my favourite Singapore Idol contestant. I think Jon Leong really have the substance. THAT X FACTOR to make it far in the music industry. He got it all. No doubt, Hady won. But you got to nod your head and agree that Jon is equally good. Or A LOT BETTER in my opinion. haha. No worries, I'm not a lovestrucked fan of his. I just admire his talent and his charm. :) Don't worry, you won't find me in the Life section of The Straits Times under the headlines.. Lovestruck girl proposed to Jonathan Leong. hahaha.
Oh well, enough of my lovey dovey dream. I shall get back with my book. I'm going to flip my bio lecture notes. And oh my goodness, the human body is seriously complex. And yes, the heart too! So complicating! The blood flow here then enter here then from there go there then here then there then here and there and go through this to enter here and there and the heart goes lub dub lub dub. It's practically a maze! Oh lalalala.. I think I'll set my heart to scrutinise the complicating heart of the human being. Arrrggghhh.. I will be able to understand the heart inside out throughly soon! Lord, I need great capacity and strength to study all these! :)
I heart all of you!
It's been really hectic these days. Whirlwind of lectures, tutorials, ICAs and the what nots. There's so much to be done and for me to look into. But no worries, I'm taking all these just fine. :)
I'm glad that my group had already completed one ICA and I'm glad we did it well. I don't know the grades yet. But I hope it'll really justify the efforts we have all put in. :) hehe. I've been slogging my head off to for all the ICAs. So did my group members. I just wanna give my best. And I believe we all did! :) If you know me long enough, you should know I've all those crappy and cheeky ideas all the time. I don't know why! hahaha. But I suggested my group members to pretend to be all pregnant and have a pregnant mama gossip session while we present our findings across. We had a hilarious time presenting. I was wearing my favourite dress when I was still in primary school. Surprisingly, it was quite loose such that I can stuff the balloon in. And yes, I can't remember who blew my balloon.. but the balloon was definitely HUGE. And plus, I wore the stockings in the tutorrial room just to show that it's important for pregnant women to wear supportive stockings to prevent varicose veins. Well well, the extreme things I did in class. Luckily, the guys weren't there yet. haha. We should have all taken a picture with our tummies! hehe. I'm really glad that my group's more sporting than last semester. Last semester, whenever I suggest some crazy but brilliant ideas, my group will give me the stare. But not anymore this semester! haha. I guess everybody have more or less gotten use to my crazy ideas. teeheehee.
Umm, I pierced my ears on last thursday as well. Pretty pretty sparkling ears! Remember, I said about wanting to pierce my ears during the holidays? Yep, apparently, my mummy wanted me to pierce on some chinese auspicious day.. some diety birthday that sort of thing. I don't really believe in such superstitious thing. But since my mum want it that way, fine then. hehe. My mum, apparently, called me last minute during my project meeting about the auspicious day. So we went that evening after they close the shop. Thank God, there's no auspicious timing or that sort of thing. LOL. I had my lovely ears pierced at Wisma Atria's B*dazzle because they claimed that they offer safe, sterile and painless ear piercing service. Plus, after care services. So I thought it'll be good for my sensitive skin. I picked the surgical stainless steel star ear rings. I wanted the one with the shiny white stone but my mum said she have a pair and I can have it. And yes, I did something really dumb. The lady convinced me to buy 2 bottles of after ear care solutions and I bought it. I stupidly bought it because she told me it's different from normal alcohol.. it's PROPHYL alcohol. :S But when I got home and scrutinised at the ingredients.. it's just prophyl alcohol and chlorhexidine. And my goodness gracious, prophyl alcohol is the normal kind of alcohol found in normal alcohol swabs. And chlorhexidine is a normal cheap kind of disinfectant! I'm a nursing student. I just studied all these crap and I didn't remember it! And mind you, two teeny bottles of 18 dollars. Slap meeeeeeeee! Oh well, what can I do since I stupidly bought them? Just apply it dilligently, which I've been doing, to prevent infection. :) My mum paid 58.80 for my star ear rings, my ear holes and two pathetic bottle of normal-disinfectant-that-can-be-bought-cheaply-in-guardian! haha. Okay, on the brighter note, I think I like the way ear rings look on my ears. hehe. Sparkly sparkly!
Also, recently, my mind have been quite occupied about some things other than school work. It's like sometimes when I'm studying.. I'll be distracted with that thought. It's like.. a thousand thoughts rushed through my mind. What should I do after my diploma? What is my future going to be like? Am I really going to be a nurse and all? Study overseas or in Singapore? Study what? What have you planned for me, Lord? I have tons in mind and it's really complex. It's definitely more than just these. I wish I can have an answer to all the question I have in mind. I've been letting my thoughts flow in somewhere private so I can, maybe, try to unravel it with God. Do pray for me as I discover all these answers with God. :)

Alrighty, I shall continue with my work now. That's a lil' snippets about what's happening in my life! :) I hope all of you are doing well. Yea, lovelies? Love ya all! God bless.
IF YOU get a missed call starting with +861 (the full number is +8613713467924), do not call back. It's the latest prank which could incur you high IDD charges unknowingly.
MOBILE phone users here have again become the target of scammers from China - though unfortunately for the con artists, the scam does not appear to work very well.
It starts with the mobile user receiving a call from a number with a +861 prefix, believed to be made by con artists using an automated dialling system that calls mobile numbers here at random.
Once connected, the scammer lets the phone ring once and then hangs up. This is done in the hope that some of the targets will return the call and connect to a premium-service number, with a charge of several dollars per minute.
R.C., a 23-year-old undergraduate who declined to give his full name, received one of these calls. He gave in to curiosity and called the number. He heard a recorded message in Mandarin telling him he had won a US$88,000 (S$139,000) cash prize, but promptly hung up because 'it sounds like a scam'.
The calls began about three weeks ago, but the three mobile operators - SingTel, StarHub and MobileOne - told The Straits Times they have not received many complaints.
The Straits Times also tried calling some of the numbers, but they had already been disconnected.
In countries such as China and the United States, where variants of this scam had previously surfaced, the recorded message typically would try to get the caller to dial a premium-service number.
However, this trick will not work here, because scammers need to have a billing relationship with the phone operators in order to collect any payment from callers to their premium numbers. The telcos here typically scrutinise all such requests carefully as a preventive measure against scams.
However, earlier this year, one scam slipped through the net. A Chinese company called MyGlobalFun managed to charge mobile users here $1 each for 300,000 Chinese New Year SMS messages it sent out via local content provider mTouche, which had fed the company the phone numbers.
mTouche was fined $150,000.
On the off chance that customers are billed for premium services they did not use, 'affected customers can approach us for help, and we will certainly look into each one on a case-by-case basis', said StarHub spokesman Cassie Fong.
A source familiar with the telecommunications industry said the only way scammers could make money doing this was if they were in cahoots with a Chinese phone operator. Charges for IDD calls are split between the local and overseas phone operators.
Ms Fong said StarHub contacted the mobile companies in China where the calls were coming from two weeks ago. Since then, she said, the volume of these calls has 'fallen significantly' as the lines have been disconnected.
For now, said SingTel spokesman Tricia Lee, mobile users are strongly advised to avoid calling back if they notice a missed call from an unfamiliar overseas number.
I received a +861 something number a few times. And earlier, my phone just rang once and that's all. And it's exactly the same description as that article. +61 is Australia number. But how about 861? Weird.. So remember dear darling friends, don't pick up the call or return the call yea? Or else a big fat bill will smack right on your face. :) haha.

+861 missed callsIF YOU get a missed call starting with +861 (the full number is +8613713467924), do not call back. It's the latest prank which could incur you high IDD charges unknowingly.
